Pseudo-scientists at CERN ,whose careers and future Nobel prizes are at stake, nor the politicians (who all would have to admit they had squandered a few billion dollars) will admit their mistakes.
Rainer Plaga fires across CERN’s bows
Behind all the ridicule, however, there are some serious theoretical papers. One respectable theorist of disaster is physicist Rainer Plaga, previously a group leader at the Max Planck Institute for Physics in Munich. He is now being being ignored by CERN and the media, but he has shown that CERN [supreme confidence in the unknown] safety theorists managed to reject his argument last year only by picking on the
wrong equation, and they (CERN)
have not come up with anything better since that embarrassment, despite promises.
